I conduct research, observe users, and collect data to gain insights into the problem space.
The discovery phase is all about building a comprehensive understanding of the problem space. I start by immersing myself in the environment where the problem exists, engaging directly with those affected. This involves conducting interviews, observations, and other qualitative research methods to gather firsthand experiences and insights. The goal here is not just to understand the problem from a surface level but to uncover the underlying issues, pain points, and unmet needs that might not be immediately apparent. By replacing assumptions with evidence-based insights, I can ensure that the design process is grounded in reality and tailored to the actual needs of the users.
